With the arrival of the new Boeing 737/700 NG Aerolineas Argentinas continues to renew its fleet with narrow bodied aircraft for regional and domestic flights.

The last two B-737/700 (LV-CXN and CYJ) are the the seventh and eight plane to arrive in the Country of a series of ten ordered from International Lease Finance Corporation(ILFC) this makes twenty B-737 Next Generation incorporated into the Company since the year 2009. To these we have to add two B-737 which are already in operation, which makes a total of twenty nine new aircraft in service to date. This month we will receive the twenty-first B-737/700 and in September the fleet will be completed with the last B-737 NG and two B-737.800.

At the end of the of delivery the unified fleet of Boeing 737 in versions of 700 and 800 series will be twenty six aircraft. we must remember that up until 2009 and before the launching of the “Negotiation Plan 2010/2014” presented by the president of Aerolineas Argentinas and Austral, Mariano Recalde, to the National Congress and to the public, the heterogeneous fleet of Aerolineas Argentinas for domestic and regional destinations was composed of Boeing 737/200; 737/500 and MD88, which today are no longer in service.

The B-737NG soon will be incorporated to the fleet with the new Company livery; the configuration in the 700 series is 8 Premium Economy seats and 120 in economy; meanwhile the 800 series have 8 Premium Economy and 162 in economy.

Aerolineas Argentinas Domestic fleet growth and renewal, already concreted for all Austral aircraft with modern Embraer E190, allow for the increased frequencies planned for this year, which is 26 per cent to cover the constant demand for seats to domestic and regional destinations covered by Aerolineas Argentinas and Austral.
