Aeronpark operation
Aeronpark operation June 09, 2014, Barcelona, Spain. Press Dispensary. The aircraft maintenance company Aeronpark has started operations at the aeronautical park at Lleida-Alguaire Airport (Spain), one year after starting to develop its project.
With the construction of this new platform, Aeronpark aims to boost the Airport’s activity by providing storage, maintenance and long-stay parking services for both commercial and private aircraft. It has already invested over 1 million euros in the project. With premises measuring over 20,000m2, tripling the Airport’s previous aircraft parking places, Aeronpark offers airlines and aircraft leasing companies a service for storing part of their fleet when required. At the same time, the platform can be used to deliver aircraft and to make any final modifications before they are added to a new fleet. As an organisation with certificate ES.145.165, Aeronpark now has the capacity to provide services to a large percentage of the European commercial fleet, including the Airbus and Boeing aircraft families, and is currently in negotiations with various airlines and leasing companies.
The aeronautical platform, which complies with ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) and EASA (European Air Safety Agency) regulations, has the capacity to store type A, B, C and D aircraft. It has surveillance, maintenance and cleaning as well as fire-fighting facilities. Aeronpark will soon be opening branch offices in Ireland and the United Kingdom.
