This brings the total Aerovista fleet to five aircraft comprising of two B737-300, two B737-500s and the newly added A320-232.
Mr. Apandi Lakhiyalov – Group CEO added, “delivery of the new aircraft is the latest achievement and testimony of the group’s expansion plans and result of our work. We are on track towards our Vista 2016 plan to grow the fleet number to 11 aircraft. We have chosen to expand our fleet with B737 and A320 as we have identified these aircraft to be more efficient and meet the needs of our growing customer base.”
“We have secured wet lease operations for the newly added A320, while the B737-300s will be operating on behalf of Aerovista’s affiliated LCC start up “flyvista” in Tbilisi, Georgia” clarified Dmitriy Korshunov – Chief Commercial Officer.
The A320 is one of the most popular narrow body Aircraft having an outstanding combination of range and economic performance. It has an excellent track record of safety and efficiency, with a strong network of support for maintenance, training and parts. The A320 is ideally suited to the medium haul inter-state carriage requirements of regional airlines. Complementing the Aerovista fleet is the B737 which is extremely cost effective, highly capable and offers great performance. In the single-aisle market, based on range and passenger loads, the Boeing 737 Classic has proven itself time and time again as a leader in this segment. It is well suited to many of Aerovista’s clients’ needs while avoiding the initial outlay of cost associated with a newer generation airframe.
