Air Astana Leased a Used Airbus A320-200 and Two New Embraer 190 Aircraft from Air Lease Corporation

LOS ANGELES, CA, May 5, 2010 – Air Astana, the national airline of Kazakhstan, leased a used A320-200 (MSN 3141) and two new Embraer 190 aircraft from Air Lease Corporation.

“We have a long history and an excellent relationship with Air Astana, and we are pleased with the opportunity to expand and modernize their jet fleet,” said Alex Khatibi, Executive Vice President of Air Lease Corporation.

The A320 is equipped with V2500 engines, and the two Embraer 190’s will deliver in October 2011 and April 2012 on 8-year leases.
