MONTREAL, Sept. 6, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ – Air Canada has been advised by the Canadian Airline Dispatchers Association (CALDA), representing the airline’s 74 flight dispatchers that the tentative agreement reached by the Company and the CALDA Negotiating Committee on August 19, 2011 was not ratified by the union membership. CALDA’s collective agreement expired on March 31, 2011. Air Canada confirms it is business as usual for the airline.
