Air China and China Telecom Sign a Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement

(Beijing, April 21, 2011) Air China and China Telecom signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on April 19 in Beijing, marking the establishment of a multi-faceted strategic partnership and an important step in deepening cooperation in the information technology industry. Passengers of Air China will also benefit from more convenient services.

According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in marketing, product development and innovation, information technology, air-ground communications, 3G applications and customer service, thus complementing each other’s strengths in enhancing the value of the cooperation.

Kong Dong, chairman of Air China, expressed his sincere hope that the agreement would further strengthen collaboration between the two parties, particularly in air-ground communications and 3G applications, and improve coordination to achieve further progress in strategic development.
