LOS ANGELES, California, January 14, 2014 — Today Air Lease Corporation (NYSE: AL) announced a long term lease agreement with Air France for one new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft from ALC’s order book, which is scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2015.
Steven F. Udvar-Hazy, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Air Lease Corporation, said: “ALC is pleased to have reached an agreement with Air France for the long term lease of one Boeing 777-300ER. This transaction represents the fourth Boeing 777-300ER lease from ALC to Air France. ALC’s management team is working closely with Air France to support a sustained fleet modernization process, which includes replacing some of Air France’s older Boeing 747s with the Boeing 777-300ER.”
