Air Moana Reports Strong First-Half Growth as Fleet Expansion Continues

Air Moana reported a 38% increase in revenue and a 27% rise in passenger traffic during the first half of 2026 compared with the same period a year earlier, as the French Polynesian carrier continued to expand its operations.

The airline’s fleet modernization program remains on schedule following the delivery of its first ATR 72-600XT in June 2025. Two additional ATR 72-600XT aircraft are expected to join the fleet in August and November, giving Air Moana a fleet of four ATR 72 aircraft by the end of 2026, including three latest-generation XT variants configured in a dual-class layout.

Air Moana said ongoing legal proceedings related to certain financing arrangements remain before the courts and concern procedural matters only, with no impact on its planned investments or aircraft delivery schedule.

The carrier continues to position itself as a long-term competitor in French Polynesia’s domestic aviation market, where it is expanding capacity and investing in fleet renewal following decades of limited competition.
