Air Namibia optimizes staff travel management with myIDTravel from Lufthansa Systems

Air Namibia has opted for myIDTravel, the integrated ID travel management solution for staff travel from Lufthansa Systems. With myIDTravel, Air Namibia can introduce self-service e-ticketing for flights of staff members on Air Namibia and other airlines. Especially the direct integration into Air Namibia’s reservation system enables the airline to offer their flights to other airlines’ employees and to comply with the industry mandate of replacing paper ID tickets by 31st March 2012.
myIDTravel is an integrated solution for the efficient management of business and private ID travel. Through e-ticketing, new self-service functions and a high level of automation, airlines can optimize their ID travel management and reduce costs. myIDTravel eliminates the need for paper tickets and enables airlines to replace them with electronic ID tickets for their own and even for interline flights.
