Airclaims continues to invest in the future with new appointments

Airclaims is delighted to announce the following appointments to their London team:-

Risk & Asset Management

John Morgan joined the Risk & Asset Management team in October with 38 years’ experience in the aviation industry ranging from mechanical apprentice to Technical Manager. John is a EASA Part 66 B1 and C Licensed Engineer with various type ratings and has held Form 4 UK CAA post holder positions for two UK airlines. His experience is varied and includes other positions such as Line Station Engineer, Quality Engineer, Deputy Quality Manager and Aviation Technical Consultant to a major aircraft lessor.

Sally Sutherland joins Airclaims as a Technical Services & Planning Assistant. Sally has four years’ experience working in technical records which includes maintaining aircraft documentation, planning maintenance checks, liaising with engineers to ensure they are working to correct revision data and ensuring all safety and quality procedures are adhered to. Sally brings excellent credentials to ensure the highest standards of airworthiness are provided for Airclaims’ clients.

Phil Spurr who joined Airclaims in 2011 as a Surveyor / Project Manager within the global Risk and Asset Management team has recently been promoted to the role of Continuing Airworthiness Manager. Phil will be responsible for the day to day running of Airclaims’ CAMO team, supporting these activities for corporate, commercial carriers and leasing companies.

Claims

Gary Clift joins Airclaims as part of the Claims team. Gary is a qualified Licenced Aircraft Engineer with 22 years’ industry experience and joins us from Qantas Airways where he was a Duty Station Engineer. He is qualified in multiple jurisdictions with approvals on numerous aircraft types including Boeing 747-400 and Airbus A380-800. Previously Gary has worked for British Airways and Virgin Atlantic in various roles such as Maintenance Control Engineer, Senior Certifying Engineer and Duty Station Engineer.

Stephen Hill who has worked at Airclaims since 2005 has recently been promoted to Senior Surveyor in recognition of his proven abilities in handling major complex claims.
