Aircraft End-of-Life Solutions (AELS) purchased two A320 Airframes for Disassembly and Dismantling

Aircraft End-of-Life Solutions (AELS) has purchased two A320-211 airframes from Spanish operator Iberia. The disassembly of the airframes started this month in Madrid. AELS performs complete sustainable End-of-Life processes for these two airframes; including disassembly and dismantling, aerospace materials recycling and component management.

A320-211 MSN 176 EC-FDA named Lagunas de Ruidera performed its first flight in February 1991 and MSN 323 EC-FNR named Month el Valle first flight was in April 1992. Both aircraft served Iberia and Iberia Express throughout Europe. After 24 years in service the airframes will receive AELS’ Total End-of-Life Solution.

AELS will remove all components from the aircraft and will re-introduce them in the market by offering them to operators, brokers, PBH-providers and MROs.

AELS develops and executes End-of-Life strategies for high profile clients from across the aviation industry. We have a dual accreditation from Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association (AFRA) for dismantling and recycling; and ASA-100 accreditation for component management.
