AirExplore and KlasJet Align Operations to Drive Growth

AirExplore and KlasJet are aligning under a unified operational structure to boost efficiency and streamline services across both carriers.

This will create a more agile and optimised framework for rapid scaling in the competitive European ACMI market. By integrating back-end functions, the airlines will eliminate operational overlaps and enhance customer service and ensure the highest of safety standards are maintained.

As part of the organisational alignment, Justinas Bulka has been appointed CEO of AirExplore. He will also continue in his current role as CEO of KlasJet.

“Bringing AirExplore and KlasJet closer together allows us to deploy aircraft faster and scale more efficiently. By leveraging the unique strengths of each brand while unifying our back-end operations, we are positioning ourselves to be the most agile partner in the European aviation sector,” says Justinas Bulka, CEO of AirExplore and KlasJet.

Unifying the operational structures of AirExplore and KlasJet will bring efficiencies given the operational similarities they share. Both airlines operate European AOCs under EASA regulations and maintain a fleet of Boeing aircraft, making it logical to merge technical and maintenance standards.

AirExplore and KlasJet will remain distinct brands operating under their respective AOCs. KlasJet will continue to lead the VIP and private charter sector, while AirExplore will focus on its core ACMI operations. This dual-brand approach, backed by a single leadership team, will expand both operators’ reach, particularly in markets like the UK, US, and Canada, through the Lithuanian AOC. It will also allow for faster aircraft deployment.

By combining internal resources while preserving their unique market identities, the airlines are better positioned to serve as a flexible and reliable partner in the European aviation sector.

AirExplore’s fleet comprises Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, including both passenger and freighter configurations (737-800 BCF).
