AJ WALTER AVIATION COMPLETES PHASE ONE OF MOVE TO NEW GLOBAL HQ

A J Walter Aviation has concluded phase one of its move to a new 60 acre site with the relocation of its operations to a new Logistics Centre near Slinfold, West Sussex. The construction of a modern state-of-the-art office and warehouse complex continues and, upon completion, this new development near London Gatwick Airport will become AJW’s flagship global HQ.

All Goods Receiving, Inspection, Stores, Shipping and Despatch activities are now based on this new site at AJW Logistics Centre,The Business Park, Maydwell Avenue, Slinfold, West Sussex RH13 0SH. All other services such as Customer Support, Repair Administration, Commercial and Finance, including PO and invoice administration will remain at AJW’s current Partridge Green site at this time.

The new site will provide nearly 200,000 square feet of purpose built office and storage facilities to house AJW’s considerable business across Airbus and Boeing component, engine and consumable inventories which is on target to reach US$400m this year. The site has been planned as a state-of-the-art campus development which will also offer a range of training, dining, sports and leisure facilities for both customers and staff.

This expansion comes at a time of exceptional growth for AJW. Warehouse capacity has already doubled in Singapore with new storage facilities in Dubai, Miami and LA as well as the commissioning of new sales and customer service offices in Miami and in Wales.

AJW will complete its new UK campus facility in Autumn 2012.
