All time high at Oslo Airport in September

The strong growth in passenger figures continues. In September 1,971,231 passengers travelled through Oslo Airport, which is all time high for this month.

This was 136,027 or 7.4 % more than September 2010. On international flights passenger figures increased by 67,794 or 7.0 %. Domestic routes saw an increase of 68,233 or 7.9 %. The number of aircraft movements in September was 20,675. This was 535 or 2.7 % more compared to last September.

All of the ten largest routes experienced growth. The strongest increases were on the routes to Tromsø, Ålesund, Bodø and Stockholm.

“We see that the purchasing power of Norwegians is still strong, and this applies to both business and private passengers,” says Knut Stabæk, marketing manager for traffic development.
