In this April, Ameco Beijing redelivered the 200th heavy maintenance check for United Airlines. It represents a new milestone for the mutual cooperation.
The cooperation began in 2005 with the selection of Ameco Beijing as MRO provider for United’s Boeing 777 fleet. It went through the first five-year contractual period when Ameco Beijing performed 53 Boeing 777 heavy maintenance checks for United. In March 2010, the overhaul services had been expanded to another five years with heavy maintenance and “International Premium Travel Experience” (IPTE) cabin modification program on United’s Boeing 777 fleet as well as heavy maintenance on Boeing 747 fleet. Since June 2012, Ameco Beijing has been entrusted with United’s Boeing 747 M check for line maintenance which has been more than 100 times by now.
The ceremony was celebrated in four-bay hangar of Ameco Beijing. “You are two partnerships for us – Ameco and its shareholder Air China,” said Greg Hart, Senior Vice President of Technical Operations for United Airlines, “your company and management team have a lot to be proud. We thank Ameco so much for doing such a good job for United.”

With no doubt this is the cornerstone for the success,” said Hu Yuliang, General Manager of Ameco Beijing, “we hope in the upcoming years we will have more celebrations and we can continue our cooperation.
