Ethiopian Airlines would like to inform its passengers, the travel trade and the public that it has resumed all regional flights to Northern Ethiopia, Khartoum and Djibouti which have been affected by the volcanic ash cloud since June 15, 2011.
The decision to resume flights was made on the basis of current meteorological forecasts which show that the volcanic ash has cleared and confirmation from Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority that the northern Ethiopia airspace is now safe to fly.
Ethiopian Airlines takes this opportunity to thank its customers, the general public and the media for their understanding, patience and unreserved support during this period.
