ASL Aviation Holdings Acquires Two Boeing 747-400ERF Freighters

ASL Aviation Holdings has acquired two Boeing 747-400ERF freighters that were previously operated within the group under lease agreements, expanding its portfolio of owned long-haul cargo aircraft.

The aircraft, MSN 33516 (OE-IFB) and MSN 33945 (OE-IFD), are operated by ASL Airlines Belgium and are already established within the group’s long-haul freighter fleet.

The acquisition was completed on August 7, 2026, with ownership of both aircraft transferred to ASL Aviation Holdings. The two 747-400ERFs will continue supporting the group’s global air cargo operations.

ASL said the transaction reflects its continued investment in the long-haul freighter business and forms part of its broader fleet and asset strategy.

The acquisition also increases ASL’s owned aircraft portfolio as the group continues developing its international air cargo platform and positioning its fleet to meet the long-term requirements of its airline operations and customers.
