ATR 72 delivered on behalf of Castlelake

Skyworld Aviation is delighted to have arranged a long term lease of an ATR 72-202, serial number 441, on behalf of Castlelake. The aircraft was ferried to its new operator CanaryFly in Gran Canaria last week on a temporary register of T7-CAO.

Serial number 441 was manufactured in 1995 and was previously in operation with Royal Air Maroc. Skyworld Aviation was successful in placing an ATR 42 on dry lease with CanaryFly back in 2011 and this latest addition takes the number of aircraft in the fleet to six, comprising two ATR 42’s, one ATR 72 and three Metro’s.

Peter Greensmith, Director at Skyworld Aviation says “We are delighted to have assisted CanaryFly with their fleet expansion particularly as it has been a challenging period for airlines operating in the region. This is also the first opportunity we’ve had to work with Castlelake and we look forward to working with them again on future transactions.”
