Avation takes delivery of ninth ATR72

Avation has taken delivery of its ninth new ATR 72 aircraft which will be leased to the Australian carrier Skywest Airlines.

This aircraft is the third in the ATR 72-600 type aircraft to be delivered to date.

Avation has now taken delivery of seven ATR 72s directly from the manufacturer and two additional new ATR 72 aircraft from another source, making a total fleet of nine ATR aircraft.

This latest aircraft will be leased to the Australian carrier Skywest Airlines, which will operate the aircraft on behalf of Virgin Australia under the Virgin Australia brand.
