AVIANCA AND TACA TRANSPORTED MORE THAN 17 MILLION PASSENGERS

· Avianca and Taca recorded a 13.7% increase in passenger numbers between January and September 2012 compared to the same period in 2011.

· During the month of September, the airlines that make up the Holding transported nearly two million passengers.

In the first three quarters of 2012, the airlines of AviancaTaca Holding carried 17,070,258 passengers, a 13.7% increase when compared to the same month of the previous year, where passengers transported summed 15,009,112 people.

During September Avianca, Taca and subsidiaries carried 1’975.827 travelers, a 15.2% increase compared to the same month in 2011, when passenger numbers stood at 1,715,405. ASK capacity rose by 10.2% in September while the Load Factor reached 81.2%.

Domestic markets in Colombia, Peru and Ecuador
During September 2012, Avianca, Taca and subsidiaries registered a 20.9% increase in the number of passengers transported in the domestic markets of Colombia, Peru and Ecuador, by flying 1,163,064 people. This is compared to 982,289 in the ninth month of 2011. The load factor in these markets stood at 82.4%.

The number of passengers transported on domestic routes between January and September 2012 in domestic markets was 9,789,654, compared to 8,082,676 in the same period of 2011, representing a 21.1% increase. ASK capacity rose by 23.7% and the load factor stood at 80.4%.

International Markets
On international routes, Avianca, Taca and subsidiaries reported in August an increase of 7.9% in passenger numbers, flying a total of 812,763 people when compared to the 753,116 travelers transported in August 2011. ASK capacity in the international market grew by 8.2% and the load factor was 80.9%.

During the first nine months of 2012, the number of passengers carried in the international markets experienced a 5.1% increase, rising from 6,926,436 passengers in 2011 to 7,280,604 passengers in 2012.
