Avinco arranges Sale of 2 leased E190s

Avinco arranged the sale of two leased E190s to Avolon on behalf of JetBlue. Both aircraft are on long term lease to Azul, Avinco acted as remarketing agent for JetBlue.

The Irish lessor took delivery of the two 2008 vintage aircraft (MSNs 147 & 150) last week, both aircraft were initially operated by JetBlue and subsequently leased by JetBlue to Azul in late 2008 when the Brazilian airline first started operations.

‘We are extremely pleased to have supported JetBlue in this transaction, selling aircraft with lease attached is challenging in today’s market but fortunately there is a growing lessor appetite for E190s” said François Gautier, Avinco’s CEO.
