Avinco awarded exclusive A321 remarketing mandate by TUI Travel

Avinco has been awarded an exclusive remarketing mandate to place one Airbus A321-200s on behalf of TUI Travel.

The aircraft is a 1998 vintage powered by CFM56-5B3/P engines and has been operated by Thomson Airways (UK) since new. The aircraft (MSN851) is a mid gross weight 89T MTOW and with a high density cabin with 218 seats and provision for one ACT. The aircraft is available for sale next spring.

“We are very pleased to have been chosen by TUI Travel on this placement project and excited to be able to offer this aircraft in the market in time to address next summer’s capacity demand” according to François Gautier, Avinco’s CEO.

Avinco is an aircraft trading, remarketing and management firm based in Monaco and Ireland. Over the past three years, Avinco has successfully placed or sourced twelve A320 family aircraft in five separate transactions and is currently working on placing several E190s, one 777-200ER, 6 A320 family aircraft, 2 A330-200s and several A340s.
