Dublin based global aircraft lessor, AWAS, announced that it has acquired one Boeing 737-800 passenger aircraft from another lessor. The aircraft is already on long-term lease to TUI Travel, a new customer to AWAS.

TUI Travel has the largest leisure fleet of aircraft in Europe and is the fifth largest European air carrier with 155 aircraft. Its parent company TUI Travel PLC is the largest tourism group in Europe.
