AWAS acquires portfolio of five aircraft from BOC Aviation

AWAS announced today that it has acquired a portfolio of five late-model narrowbody passenger aircraft from BOC Aviation. These aircraft are all subject to long-term leases with their respective airlines.

“AWAS is continuing our prudent growth initiative to acquire superior assets on lease to strong airlines,” said Carter White, Head of Aircraft Trading, AWAS. “We are also very pleased to expand our relationship with Spring Airlines and WestJet as well as welcoming Etihad and Shandong Airlines as valued AWAS customers.”

Carina Ryan, Director Aircraft Trading AWAS added, “We have demonstrated to the industry that in 2013 we will continue to be very active purchasing attractive assets in the secondary market.”

 Shandong* (1x 737-800)
 Spring (1x A320)
