AWAS announced today that it has acquired a three aircraft portfolio from another lessor. Cebu Pacific joins AWAS as a new customer with the delivery of their first widebody, a new A330-300.
The other aircraft involved in this transaction are a 737-800 leased to Qantas and an A320-200 to Spirit Airlines, both existing AWAS customers.
Marlin Dailey, Chief Commercial Officer AWAS commented on the transaction, “AWAS has and will continue to be aggressive in acquiring highly desirable modern aircraft attached to strong airlines. We are very proud to welcome Cebu Pacific as a new AWAS customer as well as expanding our relationships with Qantas and Spirit.”
Carter White, AWAS’ Head of Aircraft Trading remarked, “Our trading team and proven global platform allows us to continue to make significant acquisitions in the secondary market.”
