Dublin based aircraft lessor, AWAS, announced today that it has acquired two 2009 build Airbus A320-200 aircraft from Dublin-based lessor Aircraft Purchase Fleet Limited subject to lease with long-time AWAS customer Alitalia.

“The acquisition of these highly desirable, modern technology aircraft is a vital part of our long-term growth strategy,” said Carter White, Head of Aircraft Trading AWAS. “The ability to acquire these aircraft with an existing valued customer such as Alitalia is an integral part of this plan.”
