AWAS agrees with Aeromexico to place one new pipeline 737-800 and to the purchase & leaseback of a second new 737-800

AWAS announced today that it has agreed with Aeromexico to place one new 737- 800 passenger aircraft from its pipeline on long-term lease and also to purchase and then lease back (PLB) another 737-800 that the airline had previously ordered directly from the manufacturer.

Ricardo Sanchez Baker, Aeromexico’s CFO commented on the deal, “We are very pleased to work with AWAS again. They showed us their desire and flexibility to deliver for us with this one pipeline, and one PLB deal. Their team worked with us tirelessly to make this happen, and we look forward to many years of further growth together.”
