AWAS completes deal for four new aircraft with Lion Air Airline using aircraft to expand routes and frequencies

AWAS has announced an agreement with PT Lion Mentari Airlines (Lion Air) for three 737-800s and one Airbus A320, with the first aircraft from the deal due to be delivered today. These are new aircraft that the airline had purchased directly from the respective manufacturers. AWAS is providing a financing solution for all four aircraft and will then place them on long-term leases with Lion.

The 737NGs and A320 will be assigned to airlines in the Lion Group or its overseas affiliates.
