Dublin based aircraft lessor, AWAS, announced today that it has delivered a fifth new Boeing 737-800 passenger aircraft to the largest low-cost airline in Latin America, GOL. This aircraft was previously ordered by GOL directly from the manufacturer and is the subject of a purchase and leaseback agreement with AWAS. The B737- 800 is incremental to the previously announced package of five B737-800s contracted between the parties for purchase and leaseback in March 2011.
The aircraft is equipped with the Boeing Sky Interior, offering GOL’s passengers a superior level of comfort and convenience.
