Dublin based aircraft lessor, AWAS, announced today that it delivered its first new order aircraft, an A320 from its existing order pipeline, to customer Spring Airlines. Spring was already a valued customer with aircraft that AWAS had previously acquired from another lessor.

“We are very pleased to be expanding our relationship with AWAS,” said Ms. Zhang Xiu Zhi, CEO Spring Airlines. “It was only a few months ago that we recognised them with our Outstanding Performance award, now we are receiving our first of two planned new order A320s from them, aircraft that will assist us in expanding our route network to additional Asia, and Southeast Asian destinations in the near future.”

“AWAS is proud to deliver this new aircraft to Spring Airlines, and we are grateful for the trust they have placed in us to grow together” said Ray Sisson, President & CEO AWAS.

“We are focused on delivering innovative solutions to our customers along with superior service, all while understanding their unique business needs, said JT Foo, Vice President Sales AWAS Asia Pacific. “Our platform has over 27 years of expertise in the region and we are dedicated to seeing its customers grow and succeed.”

AWAS was one of the first lessors to place aircraft in China, beginning in the early 1990’s.
