AWAS delivers second new A320 to ANA Holdings

AWAS announced today that it has delivered to ANA Holdings Inc. (ANAHD) one new A320 aircraft from its order pipeline. ANAHD will use this aircraft to support the continued expansion of Vanilla Air, their low cost regional subsidiary which will be based in Narita and commence service with the following launch destinations: Naha (Okinawa), Sapporo, Seoul and Taipei.

After a successful delivery to Vanilla Air, AWAS sold the aircraft as part of its planned strategy to trade highly valuable aviation assets, both through acquisition and disposition.

Marlin Dailey, Chief Commercial Officer AWAS remarked, “AWAS is very pleased to deliver this aircraft to ANA to support the launch of Vanilla Air, and we will have three additional new A320s to deliver to them in the near future. Our aircraft trading platform has sold this airplane to a third party investor. AWAS has been, and will continue to be very active in acquiring modern aircraft in the secondary channel. As a part of our strategy we also will sell assets when it makes sense for our overall portfolio.”
