AWAS delivers second planned new 737-800 passenger aircraft to Ethiopian Airlines

AWAS announced today that it has delivered a new 737-800 passenger aircraft to the flag carrier of Ethiopia, Ethiopian Airlines. AWAS and the airline had previously agreed to a purchase and lease back for two new 737-800 aircraft that the airline had ordered directly from the manufacturer.

This aircraft is part of the airline’s planned growth and modernisation program to drive increased efficiency, profitability and enhanced customer service.
