AWAS to lease one 737-800 passenger aircraft to new customer Corendon Airlines

AWAS announced today that it has agreed to lease one 737-800 passenger aircraft to Corendon Airlines. The aircraft is from AWAS’ existing aircraft portfolio. Corendon Airlines is a regional carrier operating 30 routes out of Antalya Airport, Turkey. Corendon has experienced significant annual passenger growth since the airline’s launch in 2005.

Yıldıray Karaer, CEO Corendon Airlines stated, “We are very pleased to enter into this, our first agreement with AWAS to receive a modern, efficient 737-800 to add to our growing fleet.”

Marlin Dailey, Chief Commercial Officer AWAS commented, “AWAS would like to welcome Corendon as our 97th customer. We look forward to providing them with solutions to support their growth for many years to come.”
