Carsten Behrens named new head of Pratt & Whitney Canada Customer Service Centre Europe (CSC) at MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg

Carsten Behrens (43) has been appointed Managing Director of the P&WC Customer Service Centre Europe (CSC), in Berlin-Brandenburg, Germany, effective January 1, 2013. He takes over his new role at the helm of the joint venture of MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg and Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) from Clemens Linden, who became the new Managing Director of EUROJET Turbo GmbH, Germany with effect from December 1, 2012.

Behrens is a graduate aerospace engineer and with his new position will join the MTU Maintenance site of Berlin-Brandenburg. Before that, the Berlin-born was head of Commercial Parts Repair at MTU Maintenance since 2010. Prior to this, he had served in various management positions with MTU Maintenance Hannover for four years.

CSC is a 50-50 joint venture of MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg and Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC). It engages in marketing and sales activities for P&WC engines, providing service support for customers in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Incoming repair jobs are performed by MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg or at other locations of the worldwide Pratt & Whitney Canada Service Centre network.
