Cebu Pacific to hire 150 more cabin crew in time for aircraft deliveries
Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, plans to hire 150 more cabin crew in a Grand Cabin Crew Screening Day on June 25, 2011, 9am-3pm at the Grand Ballroom of Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati.
CEB plans to augment its workforce in time for the delivery of 4 brand-new Airbus A320 aircraft in the 2nd half of 2011, and 16 brand-new Airbus A320 aircraft from 2012 until 2014.
The airline recently announced a $3.8 billion order for 30 Airbus A321neo and 7 Airbus A320 aircraft to be delivered from 2015 until 2021. It is the largest order for Airbus A321neo in the world
“Our expansion will allow us to continue offering high-paying jobs to more Filipinos, and keep them close to their families,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.
Qualifications for being a CEB flight attendant include a dynamic personality, at least 5’3” in height, weight that is proportional to height, clear complexion, and good eyesight, among others. They should be 18-25 year old female Philippine passport holders who are proficient in Filipino and English.
Applicants should come in business attire, and bring their resume with a 2×2 picture
“CEB will continue to give more Filipinos the chance to build their careers in the airline industry. Our plans to hire more flight, cabin and ground crew will continue to grow as the airline grows. To date, we have created close to 5,000 jobs with an annual payroll of over PHP 2 billion, contributing significantly to the Philippine job market,” she added.
