CIT AEROSPACE SIGNS AGREEMENTS TO LEASE 46 AIRCRAFT AND DELIVERS 12 AIRCRAFT IN THE THIRD QUARTER 2011

NEW YORK – November 2, 2011 – CIT Group Inc. (NYSE: CIT), today announced that in the third quarter of 2011, CIT Aerospace, a global leader in transportation finance, delivered 12 new and used aircraft to its airline customers around the world. The Company also signed agreements for the current and future lease of a total of 46 commercial aircraft and added seven new leasing customers to its client base.

CIT Aerospace serves more than 110 customers in 55 countries. CIT owns or finances a fleet of approximately 300 commercial aircraft.
