COMMUNIQUÉ – INCIDENT WITH AN EMB 120 BRASILIA IN GABON

São José dos Campos, October 12, 2011- Embraer informs that this morning (local time), an EMB 120 Brasilia turboprop, serial number 120.245 and tail number ZS-PYO, operated by Verifly Aviation, ran off the end of the runway while landing at Port Gentil (POG) airport, in Gabon. Preliminary information indicates that 25 people were on board and that no one was seriously injured.

Embraer has already made contact with local authorities and will send a technical team to accompany the investigation of this incident.
