Direct Maintenance supports Singapore Airlines Cargo

15 March 2013: On the occasion of the first ever Singapore Airlines Cargo flight into Kenneth Kaunda International Airport at Lusaka, Zambia (LUN), Direct Maintenance was tasked with providing line maintenance support to the B747-400F Mega Ark. This inaugural flight was performed on 11 March 2013 in a safe and timely manner. Roger Meels, Technical Director, said: “Our LUN team is consistently deploying its high standards and strong customer focus. We feel very privileged being in position to offer our support in Lusaka to Singapore Airlines Cargo on this occasion, an airline which we consider being a leader in wide body airfreight”.

Singapore Airlines Cargo management was quoted as follows: “I’d like to thank your team for the support in LUN. It is good to know that we can get such support from Direct Maintenance. The next time Singapore Airlines Cargo operates to LUN, we’ll know who to look for.”
