London/Offenbach am Main — Doric’s aviation portfolio now comprises 36 aircraft valued at USD 6.1 billion. At 16:41 CET on 29 August 2013 Doric took its 19th Airbus A380 under management. The superjumbo with the manufacturer’s serial number (MSN) 132 was acquired by DNA Alpha Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Doric Nimrod Air Three Limited (DNA3). The A380 is leased to Emirates for a period of 12 years.
MSN 132 is the first of four aircraft financed by the aircraft investment company DNA3, which was first listed on the London Stock Exchange on 2 July 2013. The remaining three superjumbos are scheduled for delivery by the end of 2013.
