In January 2011 on regular flights of Air Moldova airline were transported 33 000 passengers. The largest growth of passenger traffic was recorded on direction Chisinau-Bucharest (65%), Chisinau-Rome (29%), Chisinau- Moscow (24), Chisinau-Milano (17%) and Chisinau-London (+15).
Almost 730 persons used in January the flights Air Moldova from Moscow and Bucharest to Europe by stopping over in the Chisinau International Airport that becomes a transit airport.
In January 2011, the volume of cargo and mail transported by Air Moldova consisted 73 tons, indicating an increase of 20% in comparing with the similar period of 2010.
