Estonian Air carried 44 080 passengers in April

In April this year Estonian Air carried 44 080 passengers, which is 8% more than in March and 5% less than in April last year. In April Estonian Air operated 964 flights, which is 12.4% more than in March and 1.5% more compared to April last year.

In the first four months Estonian Air carried 154 746 passengers, out of which 148 592 on regular flights. In the same period last year, Estonian Air carried altogether 168 206 passengers, out of which 165 761 on regular flights. In the first four months of the year Estonian Air operated 3298 flights, which is 13.2% less compared to the same period last year.

The operating results of the first four months are in line with the restructuring plan of the company adopted by the Estonian government and submitted to the European Commission for approval.

The 15-minute punctuality of Estonian Air flights in the first four months was 95.3 , an increase of 7.6 percentage points compared to the same period last year. The regularity was 99.4, a decrease 0.1 percentage point compared to the same period last year.

In April the punctuality and regularity were 96.8% and 99.6% respectively.

Estonian Air is aiming to provide Estonia with reliable and regular double daily connections to destinations of strategic importance and of substantial demand.
