Eurolot starts own flights

Poland’s biggest regional airline Eurolot is going to open new domestic flights from 1st of July 2011. Starting with connections from Gdansk (GDN) to Cracow (KRK) and Gdansk (GDN) to Wroclaw (WRO), offering possibility to travel fast and comfortable between north and south busiest cities in Poland and saving couple of hours when traveling by train or car plus also on hotels and other expenses.

Till now Eurolot has been operating flights only for Lot Polish Airlines on domestic and international regional connections within the range of it’s ATR fleet. Now Eurolot is offering own direct connections with K2 designator between the biggest cities in Poland avoiding transit in Warsaw (WAW).

We start from these two basic everyday connections but we are working on opening new ones” said Mariusz D?browski- Eurolot CEO President. “Ticket prices have been reduced and can be available for bigger number of people, e.g. Eurolot fare is less than 195 PLN (49 Euro) and fare includes free baggage allowance plus drink and snack on board.”

Eurolot has a fleet of 12 ATR 72 and 42 and 3 Embraer 175 planes, there are plans to expand the fleet in future to accommodate the GDP growth as well as coming EURO 2012 in Poland. New connections will be operated by ATR 42. Tickets can be bought on new eurolot.com web site from 1st of June 2011 along other products, that will be introduced during this summer. Agents sale will be introduced during this month.
