Finnair is continuing its savings program and beginning employee consultations in its Customer Service Division. The consultations will concern Finnair’s Ground Customer Service personnel at Helsinki Airport. The consultations are following up on business model and organizational changes made in spring 2012. Now, negotiations will continue as part of Finnair’s 140 million euro cost savings program.
Negotiations will concern 250 employees. The cost savings measures could result in part-time arrangements of an estimated 30 persons, and a reduction of approximately of 25 persons. Primarily the negotiations aim at minimizing redundancies or part-time arrangements.
