On 17 December 2013, Finnair signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Novus Aviation Capital on the sale and leaseback of two Airbus 330 aircraft owned by Finnair. The transaction has now been finalized for one of the two aircraft.
The sale and leaseback agreement for the second aircraft included in the MoU is expected to be concluded by the end of June 2014. The value of the arrangement covering both aircraft is approximately EUR 110 million.
