FIRST ARGENTINE AIRPORTS CONGRESS GATHERS MOMENTUM

Airport Show Argentina – 1er Congreso Nacional de Aeropuertos, which is being co-organised by the Association of Airport Management Professionals (ATEGA) and Reed Exhibitions, has won new institutional as well as business support. The Argentine Tourism Ministry has endorsed the event by way of a declaration of interest while Paolini Umare becomes a Golden Sponsor; Cavotec Latin America, Crossracer, Global Exchange, Prosegur and SITA become Silver Sponsors and Zacharias S.A. does likewise as a Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprise (PyME).

Airport Show Argentina – 1er Congreso Nacional de Aeropuertos will open in Buenos Aires on November 29-30. Organisers of the event, titled “The airport: a strategic project” expect to welcome more than 300 airport-related executives and government officials from Argentina and other countries. In addition, the National Flight Safety Director (ANAC), Captain Mario Mario Enrique Massolo has been appointed to moderate the Flight Safety Panel. Meanwhile Javier A. Lifa (ATEGA) will moderate a new panel, “New proposals in Technology and Services”. The new panel grew from interest expressed by a number of players in the airport business.
