The first commercial flight on the new A330-300 from Kuala Lumpur to Brisbane departed this morning, 20 April 2011 at 9.40am. Malaysia Airlines, Director of Operations, Captain Mohamed Azharuddin Osman welcomed all passengers on board MH135 to Brisbane. To commemorate the occasion, all passengers received a token of appreciation from Malaysia Airlines.
The new A330-300 was launched last Thursday amidst a ceremonious event at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). The occasion was graced by Minister of Transport, Y.B. Dato’ Seri Kong Cho Ha. The new Airbus A330-300 is the first of 15 aircrafts to be delivered to Malaysia Airlines over the next four years, as part of the airline’s fleet renewal programme.
