Flybondi announces its fleet expansion with an investment of $1.7 billion
- The company placed an order for 35 new aircraft from Airbus and Boeing.
- This investment will be led by COC Global Enterprise as the main investor in Flybondi.
- The airline could thus increase the number of aircraft in its fleet by 230% over the next 4 years.
Buenos Aires, Argentina, December 2, 2025 – Flybondi, Argentina’s first low-cost airline, announces the signing of an agreement with Boeing and Airbus for the incorporation of brand-new aircraft. With an investment of approximately US$1.7 billion, this will consolidate the largest fleet expansion in recent years in both Argentina and Paraguay, and one of the most significant in Latin America.
The company will incorporate 15 Airbus A220-300 aircraft with an option for 5 additional ones. This model, manufactured in Alabama (USA), has a capacity to transport 160 passengers, and the first deliveries are scheduled for 2027, with completion in 2029. It is important to note that Flybondi will be the first operator of this aircraft model in Latin America.
Additionally, it will incorporate 10 Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft with an option for 5 more. This model has a capacity for 240 passengers, is manufactured in Reston (USA), and the first deliveries are scheduled for 2027, with a progressive schedule that will conclude in 2030.
This expansion represents a strategic milestone for the airline, which will seek growth both in Argentina and in new markets in Latin America and the Caribbean with highly efficient, latest-generation aircraft models.
