Fokker Elmo selected by The Boeing Company for 777 Electrical Wiring package and recognized for excellent performance

Hoogerheide, the Netherlands, April 15th 2013, Fokker Elmo a business unit of Fokker Technologies, has been selected by Boeing for the manufacturing of an additional Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) package for the 777 aircraft series.

Fokker Elmo is already a long term supplier for Boeing Commercial Aircraft with 777 and 737 EWIS packages. The new contract confirms Fokker Elmo’s position as a strategic EWIS supplier to Boeing. The manufacturing activities have been started in the beginning of this year and are supported by the Fokker Elmo teams in The Netherlands and China facilities.

In addition to the new contract, The Boeing Company awarded Fokker Elmo with the Boeing Performance Excellence Award 2012. This award is issued annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved an outstanding performance. Fokker Elmo maintained a composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from October 1, 2011 to September 30, 2012.
