Fokker partners with Sibir Technics LLC and signs a DOA-DOA agreement

Fokker Services, part of Fokker Technologies, is proud to announce that it has signed an agreement with Russian Novosibirsk based maintenance provider Sibir Technics LLC to support their EASA Design Organization Approval (DOA) organisation.

Sibir Technics applied for an EASA 21J approval, to be able to certify Minor Modifications. This will create new opportunities for Sibir Technics to offer a broader range of service towards their customer base.

Fokker Services partners with Sibir Technics to support them obtaining the EASA DOA, by training their Engineering staff and providing Compliance Verification capabilities. The Russian market is a fast growing market and Fokker Services is expanding its products and services to support the Russian operators.

Signing a DOA-DOA agreement is an important step for both parties and will help to use (local) knowledge in Russia to develop our portfolio to meet the requirements of the Russian operators.

Alexey Oschepkov, Head of Design Department of Sibir Technics: “Our company has vast experience in maintenance activities on a wide range of aircraft types and aircraft components. In addition, we have a certified production facility for interior components. Therefore, obtaining EASA Part 21J approval would allow us to perform turn-key modification projects, from the preliminary analysis up to the implementation. We would like to express our gratitude to Fokker Services for its assistance in our first steps as Design Organization and look forward to a long and close mutual cooperation.”

Heino van der Laan, Vice President Marketing and Sales Fokker Services: “We are honoured Sibir Technics has signed a DOA-DOA agreement with Fokker Services. We continue to expand our products and services and are delighted we get another strong partnership in the Russian market, with Sibir Technics”.
