Atlanta, Georgia – GA Telesis Composite Repair Group, LLC (“GAT CRG”), today announced the signing of an exclusive CF6-80A Thrust Reverser Support Agreement with Star Air.
GA Telesis CRG through its S.N.A.P. (Strategic Nacelle Access Pool) Program will be exclusively responsible to provide Star Air with an advanced rotable pool to support twenty-eight (28) thrust reverser overhauls for its CF6-80A powered B767s over the next twenty-four (24) months.
“By combining thrust reverser inventory support with our in house repair capability for both structural and actuation system components we are able to provide a seamless source to support Star Air’s operational requirements”, said Bill Wierda, Vice President of Sales & Marketing GA Telesis MRO Business Units. “Placing nacelle inventory globally through our S.N.A.P. system at two separate locations provides Star Air with easy inventory access, flat rate repairs and flexibility to support a demanding schedule at a pre-established fix costs,” he added.
